High and Safe – in the Future too
As climate change progresses, extreme weather events are increasing rapidly worldwide. In addition to the dangers posed by earthquakes to tall buildings in particular, increased wind loads are becoming more frequent. At the “Tall & Safe” conference of the Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) Germany on November 14 in Munich, the focus will be on planning and technical options for building high-rise buildings to withstand earthquakes and storms.
The Council on Tall Building and Urban Habitat is an international association for the promotion of knowledge about tall buildings and the related urban planning dimension.
