Building of the Future is Circular
In times of rapidly advancing climate change, the construction sector has a special responsibility. As one of the main polluters, the construction sector can also bring about major changes towards sustainability.
In order to keep the earth habitable for future generations, not only must climate-damaging emissions be minimised, but as the construction industry is also at the forefront of global resource consumption, we must use raw materials as sparingly as possible and value them. We must recycle as much as possible.
The building resource passport is an important tool for the construction of the future. Ideally, it bundles all the materials used and makes it possible to return them to the material cycle when buildings are dismantled.
Our new topic page shows how and where the idea of the circular economy is already being successfully implemented at Werner Sobek.
