Complex and Highly Efficient: High Praise for Berlin’s Tallest Building
In a detailed and richly illustrated article, the online magazine baunetzwissen pays tribute to the 140 metre high EDGE East Side office tower in Berlin. Our office was responsible for the facade engineering, parts of the structural engineering, the height access planning and the complete building physics for the tallest building in the capital. The article particularly recognises the high complexity of the glass facade and the energy efficiency of the entire building, which has been pre-certified with platinum by the DGNB.
