CO₂-Neutral Landmark for Kreuzberg
We are delighted that we were able to contribute to the realisation of the Macherei (M60) in Berlin, designed by Sauerbruch Hutton, with our structural engineering and BIM services.
The Macherei utilises Cobiax technology, in which lightweight hollow plastic elements within a reinforced concrete ceiling replace the heavy concrete where it is not structurally required. In addition, state-of-the-art photovoltaics round off the consistently sustainable planning of the office building.
