Your responsibilities
- Planning and independent preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
- Responsibility for the ongoing group accounting in Lucanet
- First point of contact for accounting-related issues within the group
- Further development of accounting policies and ongoing optimization of systems and processes in group accounting
- Analysis and commentary on the financial statements of subsidiaries worldwide
- Execution of special projects in (group) accounting, such as optimizing the reporting of foreign subsidiaries
- Support in sustainability reporting according to ESRS/EU taxonomy
- Competent point of contact for auditors, management, and subsidiaries
Your profile
- You’ll have successfully completed your studies in economics or business administration
- You have several years of professional experience at an auditing firm or in the group accounting department of an international company
- You have strong knowledge of accounting, particularly in the field of group accounting under German GAAP (HGB) – knowledge of IFRS is a plus
- You have experience with consolidation software (preferably Lucanet) and BI tools is desirable, as well as proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
- You have strong analytical, communication, and team skills
- You are independent, have a structured work approach with a strong sense of responsibility and high quality standards
- You have a very good command of German and English
