Saturday-Uni Stuttgart
On 27 March 2021, a joint lecture by Prof. Werner Sobek and Prof. Lucio Blandini will take place as part of the Saturday-Uni at the Volkshochschule Stuttgart. From 1.00 – 2.30 p.m. they will speak via Zoom under the title “Building with less material for more people – lightweight construction in the 21st century” about climate change and population explosion, migrations, reversal of the age pyramid and resource scarcity.
The outgoing and the new director of the Institute of Lightweight Design and Construction (ILEK) at the University of Stuttgart will jointly show what answers research has already found to these issues – and where research is still needed in the future.” Click here to register.
