On 09 June 2021 at 11:00, Matteo Brunetti, project manager at Werner Sobek, will present our major project “Kuwait International Airport” in a webinar.
The Kuwait International Airport will be expanded by 2022 with a new terminal building designed by Foster + Partner. The building is characterized not only by its size but also by the complexity of its roof structure.
The challenging design could only be made feasible with the help of complex digital methods and tools. These will also be discussed in the webinar.
The focus will be on the overall FE model generated by the interface between Grasshopper and SOFiSTiK. In the Open BIM workflow, this model played a particularly important role. To register click here.
