Kinder Kunst Labor (KKL) St. Pölten

A Special Structure for Children

The journal Detail has devoted a detailed report to the Children’s Art Laboratory (KKL) in St. Pölten, the capital of Lower Austria. The article focuses particularly on the role of the structure in the design of the building. We are pleased to have received this honour.

The KKL is one of our structural engineering projects that is particularly close to our hearts. We were not only able to support a particularly sustainable project from the pen of the Viennese Schenker Salvi Weber architects with our services, but at the same time shape a forward-looking building for children, who represent our future!

The KKL is a free-standing building in the north-west corner of the Altoona Park and is designed as an interactive museum to introduce children from different backgrounds, educational and income levels to contemporary art in a variety of ways.
