Award for Remstal Pavilion

Last week, the award ceremony of the German Steel Construction 2020 took place in Bochum, which had to be postponed several times due to the pandemic. We are very pleased that the Belvedere pavilion, which was designed by the architectural firm Barkow Leibinger for the Remstal Garden Show 2019, received a distinction. The pavilion was part of the joint project “White Stations”, in which 16 municipalities participated. The 5-metre-high spatial framework in the middle of the Fellbach vineyards offers a beautiful destination for hikers. Werner Sobek was responsible for its structural engineering.
