Awareness for a Sustainable Future

Until the end of October 2022, the Stadtmuseum Düsseldorf is showing the exhibition “Werner Sobek: 17 Statements“. The exhibition deals with the ecological impact and responsibility of the building industry. In addition to 17 banners, corresponding short films explain the respective statement, which Werner Sobek first published in the artistic annual report for the Zumtobel company. We are delighted about this recognition, which comes shortly after Werner Sobek was awarded the “Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany”. Incidentally, Theresia Bauer, Baden-Württemberg’s Minister of Science and the Arts, called Werner Sobek an “architectural pioneer” who had “established the context of climate protection and global responsibility with his visionary ideas for sustainable building”.
