Building Physics for Climate-Friendly School Construction

The new Frankfurt Römerstadt School was planned by Trapez Architektur – Werner Sobek was responsible for the building physics: the school, which meets the passive house standard, has a highly insulated building envelope and the natural night ventilation minimises the energy requirements of the plant technology. In addition, overflow openings in the partition walls ensure effective cross-ventilation.
