buildingSMART Germany

Werner Sobek Stuttgart recently became the 500th member of the BIM initiative buildingSMART Germany. The association is part of a worldwide network whose goal is the further development and standardization of open standards for the software-independent exchange of information in BIM projects and the definition and standardization of corresponding work processes. In order to spread the idea of Open BIM and to promote the exchange of experience and information, the association organizes seminars and conferences as well as other activities for professional exchange on a national, international and regional level.
