Circularity in the Built Environment – a Report by Greenpeace
The non-profit organisation Greenpeace has been committed to protecting the environment, nature and the climate for 50 years. The latest issue of the German Greenpeace magazine is dedicated to the importance of circular economies for sustainability. In this context, our experimental unit UMAR at the Swiss NEST campus is presented as an exemplary solution. Our “Urban Mining and Recycling” unit tests how our built environment can be designed to be as resource-efficient as possible. Werner Sobek, together with Dirk Hebel and Felix Heisel, was responsible for the design and planning of the unit. More information about the issue here
