Climate-Friendly Learning in Frankfurt

Werner Sobek was responsible for the structural engineering, building physics and building acoustics for the climate-friendly Mainfeld School project in Frankfurt am Main. The temporary school building for around 800 pupils was planned by Darmstadt-based werk.um architekten. The three-storey building was constructed using prefabricated solid timber construction, with a wide-span bridge structure connecting the two buildings.
