Commitment to Timber Construction
We are pleased to announce that our CEO Roland Bechmann was appointed Ambassador of the “Coalition for Timber Construction” in November 2024. The initiative is committed to sustainable and modern construction with timber. Its ambassadors are experts from the fields of science, planning, architecture and project development.
On its third anniversary, the coalition is urgently warning legislators not to slow down the successful development of timber construction in Germany. “Timber construction is more than just a sustainable alternative – it binds CO₂, enables fast construction processes and offers real solutions to the challenges of new and existing buildings thanks to modular and serial construction methods,” warns Sun Jensch, Managing Director of the initiative.
