Construction and Tradition
In early modern Turkish art, the ornamentation of geometrically constructed patterns achieved a special form and perfection. For the new headquarters of Vakifbank, Turkey’s largest state-owned bank, the aim was to incorporate these patterns into the design of the facade. Werner Sobek was responsible for the facade engineering of this major project by Tabanlioglu Architects, from the preliminary design to the final design.
Restaurants and shops are located in the base of the two office towers.
