CTBUH Conference in Chicago

Werner Sobek is represented at the CTBUH conference in Chicago with presentations by two members of staff – our board member Roland Bechmann and Dr Stefanie Weidner, office manager of Werner Sobek Copenhagen.

For four days, the event, entitled “High Excellence: The Search for the Ideal in Vertical Urbanism“, will address the challenge of a new kind of urban densification – and an architecture that in the future must offer more than functional space and a highly marketable skyline.

But what would be the optimal solution for a certain high-rise building or city at a certain location, in a certain climate and at a certain time? And which current projects point the way to the future?
