TKT in dawning

Extraordinary Laboratory in the Black Forest

An interesting article in the French “Journal du Geek” deals with our TKT project in Rottweil, which we designed and planned together with Helmut Jahn.

It talks about an “imposing skyscraper in the middle of a dense forest” that houses neither people nor companies – but lifts.

And indeed, ThyssenKrupp has been testing its high-speed elevators here since 2017. At around 246 metres, the ThyssenKrupp test tower is one of the tallest structures in Germany and also the tallest textile-clad building in the world.
