Forward-Looking because Sustainable All Round
Werner Sobek was awarded the contract for the building services, building physics and BNB coordination for the new Weidenbornstraße administration building in Wiesbaden. The building is designed as a timber hybrid, with only the ground floor, staircase cores and shafts being solid. For the energy supply, a sustainable energy concept was developed with the use of brine-water heat pumps in combination with an ice storage system. A high proportion of the electricity demand is covered by a PV system on the roof.
We are very pleased to be involved in this forward-looking and sustainable project by the Bregenz-based architectural firm Dietrich/Untertrifaller!
