Historic Building Fabric, Modern Technology
The MACO office building in Cologne city centre is being modernised by Caspar Schmitz-Morkramer — Werner Sobek is responsible for circular engineering and sustainability consulting. The building, constructed in 1927 in the Kunibertsviertel, is being gutted, extended and refurbished as sustainably as possible; the historic structure is being retained.
