Impressions of Stuttgart’s New Green Centre
In mid-July 2022, the plant troughs were installed on the facade of the Calwer Passage. Together with the previously greened roof, the building complex, which was completely rebuilt except for the listed passage, has been transformed into an absolute eye-catcher.
In this groundbreaking project, Werner Sobek was responsible not only for sustainability consulting but also for the complete facade engineering, including the supply technology and irrigation systems for the green facades. And thus significantly helped to improve the microclimate at the geographical centre of Stuttgart.
