In June 2023, the last of the 28 chalice supports at Stuttgart’s new main station was stripped. In the next step, the so-called “light eyes” will now be closed with a filigree steel and glass construction. They will later ensure that the new station is supplied with daylight. In the July issue of the S21 magazine “Bezug“, a report is devoted to the creation of the goblet-shaped masterpieces planned by Christoph Ingenhoven and Werner Sobek.
