Lakhta Centre – The highest building in Europe

During an excursion to Russia, engineering students from the University of Stuttgart were able to take a first look at the spectacular facade of the newly built Lakhta Centre. The highest building in Europe is almost completed and already a striking landmark of St. Petersburg. We are pleased to have given the students a site tour of our project Plot15 in Moscow as well as a look at the 462 m high building by the architects RMJM. Werner Sobek was responsible for the planning of various special facades and carried out a quality inspection of the finished facade.
