Monument Protection Meets the Latest Technical Requirements
We have received new pictures of the Global Tower in Frankfurt am Main. The design for the revitalisation of the first Commerzbank high-rise from the 1970s was created by meyerschmitzmorkramer – Werner Sobek was responsible for both the structural engineering and the building physics.
A particular challenge with the Global Tower was the refurbishment of the listed facade: its appearance had to be preserved while at the same time meeting the latest technical requirements.
