New Bridge for Mönchengladbach
For the city of Mönchengladbach, Werner Sobek and grbv Ingenieure designed an elegant pedestrian and bicycle bridge over Bettrather Straße. The 52.45-metre-long bridge in steel construction connects the city centre with the parks and green spaces to the north of it. Generous seating in the middle of the bridge with beautiful and comfortable wooden surfaces invite people to pause for a moment. A separate traffic lane is created for cyclists between the footpaths.
