Order of Merit
On 20 April 2013, Prof. Dr. Dr. E.h. Werner Sobek was awarded the highest distinction of the State of Baden-Württemberg, the Order of Merit. The reasons for this award were, according to prime minister Winfried Kretschmann, Werber Sobek’s outstanding commitment to sustainability and to innovation in the built environment.
