Silver Badge of Honour

On 21 April 2016 Prof. Werner Sobek received the highest decoration of his native town Aalen (near Stuttgart), the Silver Badge of Honour. Aalen’s municipal council has voted for this distinction in November 2015. The badge was awarded at a public ceremony in Aalen’s town hall. The honorary president of Baden-Württemberg’s Chamber of Architects, Mr Wolfgang Riehle, made a speech in Werner Sobek’s honour.
