World Engineers’ Day was proclaimed by the UNESCO General Conference in 2019 at the suggestion of the World Federation of Engineering Organisations (WFEO) and has since been celebrated annually on 4 March as the UNESCO International Day for the Promotion of the Image of Engineers and Engineering. This year’s theme is: “Unleashing the power of engineers to advance the Sustainable Development Goals”.
