Sustainable Learning: Fuchshof School Opens in Ludwigsburg

At the beginning of March 2023, the new building of the Fuchshofschule, which was constructed according to the cradle-to-cradle principle, was ceremoniously opened. The three-storey hybrid building is designed for a total of 616 pupils. Werner Sobek was responsible for the structural engineering of this particularly sustainable building project.

To optimise the construction process, the building was designed as a timber construction with a high degree of prefabrication. Environmentally friendly and sustainable building materials were used that can be reused or recycled in the future.
