Task and Responsibility of the Planners

The TU Vienna‘s “Back to Bauhaus” practical report also includes an extensive article by Prof. Werner Sobek. Under the title “We don’t have an energy problem – we have an emissions problem”, Werner Sobek once again comments on the enormous influence that the building industry has on climate change. He emphasises the decisive role that architects and engineers play in this context: by consistently planning and promoting climate-neutral building, they can and must take on more responsibility in the fight against climate change.
