Team Spirit on the Road Too
It is said that when a marathon runner has hit rock bottom, they experience a sudden feeling of happiness just a few kilometres before the finish line. Did our Berlin colleagues recently experience something similar at the half marathon in Berlin before crossing the finish line at the Brandenburg Gate?
Just a few weeks before the Stuttgart Run (on 21 July 2024, again with Werner Sobek’s team, of course!), the Berlin Half Marathon took place on 7 April 2024. A total of seven colleagues ran the 21 km in wonderful weather. A few colleagues who were not taking part in the run stood at the side of the course to cheer them on, which of course gave the runners an extra boost of motivation.
The Berlin run always starts on Straße des 17. Juni, the route leads past the Victory Column and Charlottenburg Palace, along Ku’damm and across Potsdamer Straße, where our Berlin office is located.
“The best moment is of course when you finally cross the finish line at the Brandenburg Gate,” enthuses our project manager and BIM coordinator Franziska Mahler. She has already registered for the 2025 run, as have several other colleagues.
