Via Floating Walkways to the Trains
In Stuttgart’s new main station, travellers can access the new platform hall via three large access walkways from the historic Bonatz building.
In the journal “Stahlbau“, our colleagues Dominik Nimführ, Sonja Gepperth and Angelika Schmid explain the special features of the planning and construction of these particular reinforced concrete composite structures, which are suspended from the station roof.
