“Waldkliniken” – A Climate-Neutral Hospital
On 25 November 2021, our CEO Roland Bechmann will be speaking about our beautiful “Waldkliniken” project as part of the “New Developments in Health Care Construction” conference series. The client’s goal was to make the existing buildings of the Thuringian Waldkliniken (as well as any future construction) climate-neutral, using renewable energy and an intelligent management tool. The hospital was thus to comply with the Active House standard developed by Werner Sobek – for the first time for an entire hospital area – and open the way to climate neutrality.
