We are Europe!
The Second World War in Europe ended on 8 May 1945. 5 May commemorates the founding of the Council of Europe in 1949, and on 9 May we commemorate the Schuman Declaration of 1950 and thus the founding of the European Union.
Since then, we have all benefited from Europe, from stable and democratic cooperation on our continent – now is the time to give something back to Europe!
In 2024, the European elections will take place from 6 to 9 June. Please remember to exercise your right to vote! Every vote for Europe and democracy counts.
