Mankind has an emissions problem
Germany’s first energy conservation law was passed in 1976 due to the oil crisis. Since then, much has been done to reduce energy consumption – nevertheless, emissions from combustion processes have been ignored for far too long. This must change urgently, because: Mankind does not have an energy problem, as the sun radiates 10,000 times more energy onto the earth than we need. Our main problem are the emissions that result from burning fossil and organic energy sources.
