Werner Sobek Signs Climate Manifesto
On 14 November 2025, renowned scientists from the fields of architecture and engineering, including Werner Sobek, presented their manifesto for a sustainable, cost-efficient and socially acceptable climate policy in the building sector in Berlin.
The signatories are calling for a change of course in policy. In future, the reduction of greenhouse gases must take centre stage instead of ever higher energy efficiency standards.
The “practical emissions reduction path” is affordable – for property owners and tenants alike. It can also be successfully implemented in the interests of climate protection.
