A-Motion Pavilion

For the market launch of the Mercedes A-Class in summer 1997, so-called A-Motion Pavilions were set up in a total of 20 European cities. They consisted of a floor assembly, a wooden cube, a textile roof and stage elements.

Quick Assembly and Dismantling for Market Launch of A-Class

The pavilions were to be erected and dismantled within one day, which required a design of the building that had been thought through down to the last detail. The pavilions consisted for the most part of the supporting structure itself.
