Burda Car Park

The round multi-storey car park for the Burda Medienpark in Offenburg was completed in 2002. The semi-transparent rope facade covers the building like a veil. The facade consists of prefabricated cable elements to which prepared round timbers are suspended via system brackets.

Exceptional Facade Construction and Compact Design

In addition to its unusual facade construction, the compact design of the naturally ventilated Burda multi-storey car park is remarkable. The internal ramps and staircase integrate all vertical access points into the overall volume.
