DPI Furniture & Exhibition Stand

At ExpoReal 2001 in Munich, Deutsche Post Immobilien presented themselves for the first time with a new exhibition stand of completely individual design. On a stand area of 120 square metres a number of aerofoil-like wall modules with black rubberised surfaces were configured into a space-dividing spiral.

Whereas the floor as well as the few items of furniture were coated with the same charcoal-grey rubber, eight of the wall modules were fitted with coloured LEDs, creating a high-quality display screen 9.6 m wide and 1.6 m high. In addition to the large LED display screen there were a number of smaller VDUs which could be made to pop up from the black cylindrical stands to provide the visitor with information concerning individual details and questions.

Individual Furniture Design

Privacy for personal advice was provided by three-dimensionally curved furniture designed for this particular purpose. This furniture was equally covered with a specially developed rubber varnish that had not only very high haptic qualities, but was also very resistant against use.
