Generationenhaus Holländergarten
Our engineering team at IFT was responsible for the checking engineering including construction supervision as part of the inspection (on behalf of checking engineer Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Konrad Hall) for the new construction of the Holländergarten generation house in Berlin-Reinickendorf. Owned by a housing cooperative, the development’s two buildings contain a total of 43 rental apartments and feature numerous stylistic nods to Genossenschaftssiedlung Schillerpark — the nearby cooperative housing estate from the 1920s that was designed by architect Bruno Taut.
Carbon Neutral Living for People of All Ages
Each apartment comes with a generous terrace or inset balcony that gives tenants the space to grow their own plants. The development is also entirely powered by renewable energy to help residents live a carbon-neutral lifestyle.
Generationenhaus Holländergarten is a new residential development that provides affordable accommodation for people of all ages and walks of life in the Reinickendorf borough of Berlin.
