Rudolfstift Wien
The Landstraße Clinic (formerly: Rudolfstiftung Hospital) of the City of Vienna is located in the 3rd district of Landstraße in Vienna. As the only high-rise building in its immediate vicinity, the new high-rise slice is visible from afar. The entire ensemble of the existing high-rise and the new extension thus acts as a strong and striking eye-catcher in Vienna’s modern city skyline.
High-Rise Disc as a Striking Eye-Catcher
In the area of the south extension, an 18-storey new building stands orthogonal to the existing building. It ends at the top with a helipad. The facade construction consists of a double facade with a sun protection curtain in the space between the facades.
