Sony Center

The hotel, office, residential and leisure complex Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin was planned by the architectural firm Jahn, Chicago. Werner Sobek was responsible for the structural engineering of facades and special structures.

Berlin Behind Glass Walls

These include a large number of glass walls (widths of up to 60 m with heights of up to 20 m), screenwalls and the superstructure of a listed hotel by a 6-storey apartment building with a 20 m free span.
