Together with researchers from the University of Stuttgart, Werner Sobek designed a special ceiling installation on behalf of Experimenta Heilbronn: “Cloud Realm” consists of suspended folding structures that open when set in rotation. The installation is intended for use in exhibitions and at trade fairs.

Ceiling Installation with Different Choreographies

Thanks to a special folding technique, the screens close again automatically as soon as the rotation induced by small electric motors ends. The movements of the individual elements can be coordinated so that different choreographies are possible.
