Zebra
Werner Sobek was tasked with providing sustainability consulting and a sustainability certification audit for “Zebra”, Deloitte’s new office building in Frankfurt am Main. Designed by local architecture studio hochform, the project meets the highest environmental standards and was awarded a Gold Certificate from the DGNB. Perhaps Zebra’s most distinctive feature is its perforated metal facade with bright horizontal stripes that make a significant contribution to the building’s unmistakable appearance and served as the inspiration behind its unusual name.
A workplace with Sustainable Credentials
Featuring an approximate gross floor area of 30,000 m², Zebra is a six-storey office building that offers a variety of multifunctional amenities alongside its office space. The former include a conference area with catering facilities on the ground floor and a range of generously proportioned terraces on the level above. The ground floor is also home to a number of open inner courtyards that allow the building’s users to circulate and communicate with one another in leafy, green surroundings.
